July 2020- The site is really coming into its own with a spectacular regenerative 3rd season.

Late  2019-
the site has reached its autumn maturity for this first season. The site is in excellent shape with seasonal blooms starting in late May of 2019.

The Pollinator Conservation Association in partnership with the DEC, the Niagara River Greenway Commission, and the Niagara River Greenway Ecological Steering Committee has installed a native plant site to benefit pollinators, birds, other wildlife, clean water and air, and human recreation experiences.

DEC site corner Ohio and Louisiana Streets - Buffalo, New York

This is a spectacular urban site in the City of Buffalo-surrounded by playgrounds, urban forest areas, homes, urban streets and roads. It is located directly across the street from the Ohio Street Boat Launch and Habitat Restoration Project on the shoreline of the Buffalo River. The site is owned by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and is designated to be a long-term habitat restoration site.
